Initially I was little unsure of using an Interior Designer. To be honest, my first reaction was additional cost to the already stretched budget, secondly, losing control of the project and thirdly, decorating our own home shouldn’t be too hard, I should be able to do it myself.
However, I had enough “disasters” this is probably too strong a word, maybe decorating faux pas or errors of judgment is better terminology but anyway the final result of my previous attempts at decorating just didn’t look right.
In our first telephone contact you made me feel comfortable and from then on, everything just ‘gelled’.
You listened to what we wanted, asked about our family requirements and our stage of life and our budget. You utilized existing items in our house as they ‘looked right’ and other items that had sentimental value so you used them in your overall decorating plan. You worked your creative genius and our new interior is definitely “US” – and most importantly you made us feel like part of the decision making process. You made it all come together so much so, that what started with ‘one room’ developed into the ‘whole house’ – inside and out!

Thank you for all your efforts and don’t hesitate to use us in the future if a prospective customer would like a little reassurance before they take the ‘interior decorator’ plunge ☺

Robyn has worked wonders with our home that needed TLC. We engaged David’s Brushstroke Painting who sent Robyn to help us choose the colours for the exterior of our house. Robyn did a brilliant job and the exterior looks great.

We invited Robyn back to help us with the interior of our house and again we were amazed at the suggestions she gave regarding paint colours and layout of our rooms, right down to where each painting should be hung. Robyn also recommended tradesmen to use for the work needing to be done and these recommendations have worked out very well.

We were introduced to Robyn from Inspired Spaces by our Painter. The reason was we had an idea on what colour finishes we wanted in our home however we need some professional advice in finalising the colour choices.
