Meet Robyn Hawke
Award-winning interior designer, 6x KBDI finalist, keynote speaker and founder of Inspired Spaces.
For over 20 years, Robyn has helped homeowners and businesses create spaces that reduce stress, improve function and support the people who use them every day.
Through her lived experience supporting a family member with limited mobility, Robyn understands firsthand how thoughtful design can improve independence, wellbeing and everyday life. This perspective underpins her human-centred approach to every project.
Whether designing a family home, workplace or renovation, every space is considered through the lens of how people truly live, move and experience their environment.
"A well-designed space is a series of experiences."
My role is to ensure those experiences improve the way you live and work.
Residential Planning & Design
You know when a home works. You feel it the moment you walk in, the flow, the ease, the sense that everything is exactly where it should be. That feeling doesn't happen by accident. It starts with understanding how you actually live: how your family moves through the morning, where energy gets stuck, what your home is quietly doing to you every day.
Clever space planning is at the heart of everything we do, and a qualified Inspired Spaces designer can look at a space and see solutions you may not be able to imagine, whether it's a heritage home on the water or a compact apartment that needs to work harder. That ability to read a space differently, combined with our aesthetic skill and twenty years of experience, is what transforms a house into a home you'll never want to leave.
At Inspired Spaces, we design from the inside out, resolving the spatial foundation before a single finish is chosen. The result is a home that feels as good as it looks, and keeps feeling that way. Whether you're renovating your family home, extending, redesigning a kitchen or bathroom, or planning a complete transformation, we guide you from concept through to construction.
Commercial Plans & Designs
Your workplace is doing something to your people every single day. It's either supporting their focus, their energy, and their connection, or quietly working against it. Most businesses don't realise the space is the problem until the symptoms show up: staff who'd rather work from home, meeting rooms that go unused, a team that never quite gels.
But your space isn't just a performance tool, it's a brand signal. Everything about your physical environment communicates who you are before a single word is spoken. It showcases your values, your professionalism, and your culture to every client, candidate, and customer who walks through the door. Your brand doesn't stop at your website or your business card. It lives in your walls, your layout, your light.
At Inspired Spaces, we bring both lenses to every commercial project. We look at how your people move, where workflow breaks down, and what the space is doing to the humans inside it. And we consider who you are as a business, your mission, your market, and your culture, before creating a solution that is uniquely yours. There are no cookie-cutter answers here. Every plan is built around you, resolved from the inside out, and designed to work as hard as your team does.
Keynote Speaker
Robyn Hawke is a keynote speaker and fully qualified interior designer who helps people rethink the spaces they work and live in, showing how the physical environment actively shapes behaviour, wellbeing, connection, and performance.
Across commercial and residential audiences, her work is grounded in one core belief: The environments we inhabit are not passive. They influence how we feel, how we behave, and how we perform, every single day.
